Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16/07/2026

Welcome to MeTruely. By accessing this website, enrolling in any programme, or participating in any community hosted by MeTruely, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing MeTruely (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide educational programmes, mentoring support, and personal development content, delivered online (the “Services”) to participants (“you”, “your”, “Participant”, “Client”).

These Terms govern access to and use of the Services available at https://www.metruely.com. By booking, enrolling, purchasing, or participating in any MeTruely programme or community, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

We may modify the Services and these Terms from time to time, and any changes will apply from the date of publication.

3. Scope

These Terms govern all access to, use of, and participation in the educational, mentoring, and personal development programmes, services, communities, and digital materials offered by MeTruely, including:

a. Strong Woman Detox — an introductory online mini-course

b. The Conscious Feminine™ — a paid transformational programme, offered in the formats described in Section 7

together with all related content, including videos, PDF materials, guided meditations, audio recordings, trainings, live calls, written materials, and community interactions hosted on Skool or any other platform used by MeTruely from time to time (collectively, the “Programmes”).

These Terms apply to all current and future programmes and offerings unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

By accessing this website, purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in any Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms in full.

4. Who we are, and what these Services are not

MeTruely provides educational programmes, mentoring support, and personal development content, delivered online.

The Services are created and delivered by Dr Selen Atasoy, who is a neuroscientist and a BACP-registered counsellor. However, the Services provided by MeTruely are not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, mental health treatment, clinical care, or medical services, and Dr Atasoy does not act in the capacity of your counsellor when delivering them.

All MeTruely offerings are educational, mentoring, and personal development in nature. If you are seeking counselling or psychotherapy, that is offered separately and under a separate agreement at https://www.selenatasoy.com. Participation in a MeTruely programme does not create a therapeutic relationship and does not entitle you to one.

Please read Section 13 carefully.

5. Eligibility

You must be aged eighteen (18) or over to purchase or participate in any MeTruely programme, and you must be legally able to enter into a binding contract.

We do not knowingly collect data from children. Under UK GDPR, digital consent applies from age 13. If we learn that a child’s data has been collected without appropriate consent, we will delete it. Parents or guardians may contact selen@metruely.com regarding any such matter.

6. Bookings, payments, and cancellations

Full details of programme fees, payment methods, access periods, session duration, and any applicable cancellation or rescheduling requirements are set out on the relevant programme page, or communicated to you at the time of booking. By completing a booking or purchase, you agree to those specific terms in addition to these.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:

a. Currency. We accept GBP and USD, depending on the product and checkout page.

b. Payment processing. Payments are processed via Stripe.

c. Payment in advance. All fees are payable in full in advance of access being granted. We reserve the right to withhold or suspend access until payment has been received in cleared funds.

d. Chargebacks. By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us and giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter directly. Where a chargeback is initiated without prior engagement, or is found to be unfounded, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access with immediate effect and to recover any resulting fees, costs, or administrative charges, to the extent permitted by law.

e. Missed sessions and late cancellations. Where a programme includes live sessions or one-to-one mentoring, you are responsible for attending at the agreed time. Missed sessions, or cancellations made outside the notice period specified at booking, may be treated as delivered and charged in full.

f. Rescheduling. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to availability and prior notice.

g. Refunds. See Section 17.

Nothing in this section affects any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

7. The Programmes

7.1 Strong Woman Detox — introductory mini-course

Strong Woman Detox is a time-bound introductory online mini-course hosted and delivered via the Skool platform. It comprises:

a. pre-recorded teaching videos; and

b. simple participation requirements, typically assignments or feedback relating to the modules.

Access to the programme and any associated community is limited in duration and subject to the time limits, participation requirements, and community standards communicated at enrolment. Failure to meet those requirements may result in removal from the programme or community without notice.

This programme is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment, or clinical care.

7.2 The Conscious Feminine™

The Conscious Feminine is a paid transformational programme drawing on mythic frameworks, body-based awareness, and emotional integration.

7.2.1 Self-Paced (DIY). A fully self-guided digital programme delivered online, comprising pre-recorded teaching videos, guided practices, written exercises, and downloadable materials. This format does not include live sessions, group access, community participation, or personalised feedback. Access is provided on a self-directed basis for the access period specified at purchase.

7.2.2 Group Programme. A six (6) month cohort-based group programme hosted on Skool, comprising full access to the pre-recorded materials, live group calls delivered via Zoom, and ongoing interaction within a private community. Continued participation is conditional on compliance with programme guidelines and community standards.

All formats are educational and mentoring in nature. None constitutes psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric care, or medical treatment.

7.3 Programme start dates

For paid programmes, you may request to delay your start date by up to three (3) months from the date of purchase, subject to availability and our written confirmation. Any request must be made in writing before the originally scheduled start date. If no delay is requested, the programme is deemed to commence on the date access is first granted.

7.4 Bonus content and promotional access

Bonus materials, promotional pricing, or discounted access may be offered on conditions communicated at the time of offer. All such offers are time-limited. Once expired, they cannot be reinstated or extended.

8. Delivery, platforms, and technical requirements

All Services are delivered in digital form only. Delivery may rely on third-party platforms and providers, including Skool, Stripe, Zoom, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), lovable, and Squarespace.

While we take reasonable steps to select reputable providers, we have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the availability, performance, interruption, or failure of any third-party platform or service. We shall not be liable for any loss, delay, disruption, or inability to access the Services arising from outages, maintenance, technical faults, or other third-party failures.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have suitable internet access, compatible devices, and any necessary software. Failure to do so does not constitute grounds for a refund, extension, or compensation.

9. Immediate digital access and right of withdrawal

All paid programmes grant immediate access to digital content upon purchase.

If you are a UK or EU consumer, you would ordinarily have a statutory fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal. However, by purchasing any paid MeTruely programme:

a. you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and Services; and

b. you acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal is lost once access begins, in accordance with UK and EU consumer law.

Accordingly, the right of withdrawal does not apply once digital access has been granted.

10. International participants

MeTruely operates from England and delivers all Services online. Participants may be located anywhere in the world.

a. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, as set out in Section 22, regardless of where you are located.

b. You are responsible for ensuring that your participation is lawful in your own jurisdiction, and for any tax, duty, or charge arising in your jurisdiction.

c. Where local mandatory consumer protection law applies to you and cannot be excluded by agreement, nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

d. Fees are payable in the currency shown at checkout. We are not responsible for exchange rate movements or for any fee charged by your bank or card provider.

11. Recording, confidentiality, and community

a. Live calls may be recorded and made available to participants. By attending, you consent to being recorded. If you would prefer not to appear, you may keep your camera off and refrain from speaking.

b. You may not record, screenshot, transcribe, or share any part of a live call, community discussion, or another participant’s contribution.

c. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of other participants and of any non-public information shared within programmes or communities. What is shared in the group stays in the group.

d. All programme communities are moderated spaces. We reserve the right to remove any participant who breaches programme guidelines, community standards, or these Terms. Removal may occur without notice and does not entitle you to any refund, reinstatement, or alternative access.

12. Your responsibilities

By participating in any MeTruely programme, you agree to:

a. take full responsibility for your own mental, emotional, physical, and psychological wellbeing at all times;

b. acknowledge that the Services are not a substitute for therapeutic, psychological, or medical treatment, and to seek appropriate professional support where you need it;

c. engage with us and with other participants in a respectful, lawful, and considerate manner;

d. refrain from harassment, abuse, discrimination, solicitation, or any behaviour that may cause harm or discomfort to others;

e. comply with stated deadlines, participation requirements, guidelines, and professional and community boundaries.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to any programme, community, or service where these standards are breached. In those circumstances, no refund or compensation is due.

13. Important — not medical or therapeutic care

All MeTruely programmes and offerings, group-based, self-directed, or one-to-one, are provided solely for educational, mentoring, and personal development purposes.

MeTruely programmes do not constitute, and are not a substitute for:

a. therapy or psychotherapy

b. counselling

c. mental health treatment

d. psychiatric or psychological care

e. trauma therapy or clinical intervention

f. medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

g. crisis intervention or emergency support

Nothing provided by MeTruely, or by Dr Selen Atasoy through MeTruely, shall be construed as the provision of medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic services, or as the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any physical or mental health condition.

This work may bring feeling to the surface. That is part of its nature, and it is why the boundaries above matter rather than being a formality. You remain solely responsible for your own wellbeing at all times. Where you need therapeutic, psychiatric, medical, or clinical support, you must seek it from a suitably qualified and licensed professional in your own jurisdiction.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, or you are at risk of harm to yourself or to another person, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis support provider immediately. In the UK, call 999, or the Samaritans free on 116 123, at any hour. If you are elsewhere, please ensure you know your local equivalents.

MeTruely does not provide crisis support and is not monitored for emergencies.

14. Suitability

These programmes are not suitable for everyone, and there is no failure in that.

They are not appropriate if you are in acute crisis, if you are experiencing untreated psychosis or an acute psychiatric episode, or if you need clinical care. If you are under the care of a mental health professional, we would encourage you to discuss participation with them first.

We reserve the right to decline enrolment, or to end your participation, where we consider a programme unsuitable for you. Where we do so before a programme has commenced, we will refund your fee in full.

15. Intellectual property

All content made available by MeTruely — including text, graphics, logos, images, video and audio recordings, digital downloads, guided meditations, written materials, and data compilations — is the property of MeTruely and is protected by United Kingdom intellectual property law and international copyright law.

Except as necessary to use the Services for their intended purpose, you may not copy, reproduce, extract, republish, distribute, adapt, or re-utilise any content without our express written consent.

You may not use data mining, robots, scrapers, or similar tools to extract any part of the Services or their content, and you may not use any content to train, fine-tune, or develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.

The marks MeTruely and The Conscious Feminine are ours. You may not use them without our written permission.

16. Prohibited use

You must not:

a. use the website for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit others to act unlawfully;

b. transmit any harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or offensive content;

c. engage in misleading, fraudulent, or unethical practices;

d. copy, misuse, or distribute any MeTruely content or branding without permission;

e. solicit or market to other participants within any MeTruely community.

Breach may result in suspension or permanent removal, without refund.

17. Refunds

All fees are payable in advance and processed via Stripe.

Due to the nature of the Services — immediate digital access, time-limited programmes, and reserved mentoring capacity — all sales are final. Once access has been granted or a programme has commenced, we allocate digital resources, mentoring capacity, and administrative support that cannot be withdrawn or reallocated.

Accordingly:

a. all purchases are final, and all fees paid for digital programmes and mentoring services are non-refundable;

b. changes in personal circumstances, lack of engagement, or dissatisfaction with outcomes do not entitle you to a refund;

c. no refunds are offered for missed sessions, partial participation, or early withdrawal;

d. unused access or expired sessions are forfeited.

Exceptions. We will refund in full where we decline or end your enrolment before a programme commences under Section 14, and where we cancel a programme and cannot offer a suitable alternative.

Nothing in this section affects your non-excludable statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where the Services are not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

18. No guarantee of outcome

We do not make, and expressly disclaim, any representation, warranty, or guarantee — express or implied — as to the outcomes or results of participation in any programme.

Without limitation, we give no warranty as to:

a. emotional, psychological, or personal outcomes;

b. transformation, healing, or improvement of any mental or emotional state;

c. financial, business, or professional results;

d. relationship or interpersonal outcomes; or

e. the achievement of any particular goal.

Any testimonial or example provided on the website or within programme materials reflects an individual experience only, and is not a promise or assurance of similar results.

All Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

19. Data protection and confidentiality

Personal data is handled in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and with our Privacy Policy.

We may use secure third-party providers — scheduling tools, cloud storage, course platforms — to deliver the Services. Those providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

While we take reasonable measures to protect confidentiality, electronic communications cannot be guaranteed to be entirely secure.

Our full Privacy Policy is available at https://www.metruely.com/privacy-policy.

20. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of the website or the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

a. death or personal injury caused by negligence;

b. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

c. any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms affects your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.

21. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any third-party right. This clause does not apply to you where you are acting as a consumer.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Where you are a consumer resident outside England and Wales, and mandatory local law confers rights that cannot be excluded by agreement, this clause does not deprive you of those rights.

23. Termination

We may terminate or restrict your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the website and Services ceases immediately, and these Terms continue to apply to matters arising before termination.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date changed. Significant changes may be notified by email or website notice. Your continued use of the website or Services after a change constitutes acceptance.
